According to the preliminary forecast, November 2026 is expected to be warm with an air temperature above the climatic norm by 2° and mostly precipitation (the norms are given in the weather bulletin table). Most precipitation is expected in the northwestern, northern, northeastern, and eastern regions, as well as in the east and mountainous areas of the southeast. Precipitation in most of Kazakhstan is expected to be mixed (rain, snow, sleet), in the form of snow in the northern and eastern regions, with the exception of the beginning of the month, rain and snow are possible during this period. In addition, meteorological phenomena such as fog, icy conditions, gusty winds, and snowstorms are likely in most of the country, mainly in the northern half of the republic.
The temperature background is expected to rise in most parts of the country at the beginning of the month.:
in the north, in the center, in the east at night to 0,+5 ° C, in the daytime to +5+16 ° C
in the south, in the southeast at night up to +5+15 ° C, in the daytime up to +15+25 °C

However, on some days in the north, east and in the center of the country, night air temperatures are expected to drop to -10-18 °C.

According to the advisory seasonal forecast, the winter of 2026-2027 is expected to be relatively warm, with moderate precipitation. At the same time, in some areas of the north-west, north, north-east of the country and Central Kazakhstan, precipitation may exceed the climatic norm. Snowstorms and gusty winds are forecast in some places throughout the republic, icy conditions and fogs are possible. "Temperature swings" are also expected during the winter, which will contribute to the formation of an ice crust in the snow cover.
In December, the average air temperature is expected to exceed the norm by 2 ° throughout the republic.

In January, the average air temperature is expected to be 1-2 degrees above normal in most of the republic, about normal in the northwestern half of the country (in West Kazakhstan, in most of Atyrau, Aktobe, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan regions, in the northwestern half of Akmola region).

more than the norm in most of the territory of the republic;
