Kazhydromet RSE was visited by first-year students of Astana International University studying in the specialty "Water Resources and Hydrology".
During the study tour, future specialists had the opportunity to get to know more about the activities of the national hydrometeorological service of the country. The students were told about the history of the formation and development of Kazhydromet, its main activities and its role in providing the population and government agencies with hydrometeorological information.
The students also visited the hydrometeorological center, where they got acquainted with the process of preparing weather forecasts, the work of weather forecasters and modern technologies used to monitor atmospheric processes and the hydrological situation.
During the tour, students were able to learn more about professions in the field of hydrometeorology, water resources and ecology.
Such meetings contribute to the development of professional interest among students and help future specialists gain an understanding of practical activities in the field of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring.
