During the introductory tour, the students got acquainted with the history of the national Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan, the main activities of the enterprise, as well as the work of specialists in the field of meteorology, hydrology, agrometeorology and environmental monitoring.
During the tour, the future specialists were told about the work of the Hydrometeorological Center, the process of making weather forecasts, methods of analyzing synoptic information and modern monitoring technologies.
Such meetings help to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and production organizations, as well as help students become more familiar with the future profession and practical activities of the hydrometeorological service.
