Danara Kizatovna Alimbayeva, General Director of Kazhydromet, held a bilateral meeting with Igor Anatolyevich Shumakov, Head of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring. Special attention was paid to the exchange of hydrometeorological data, the development of forecasting systems and joint measures to prevent natural hazards.
The participants also discussed the prospects for further cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects, the introduction of modern technologies and improving the quality of services provided.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed their readiness to strengthen partnerships and expand practical cooperation in the interests of ensuring hydrometeorological safety and sustainable development of the region.
