Cold snap in southern Kazakhstan

Winter spoiled the southern regions of Kazakhstan with extraordinary warmth. However, winter is winter, and in the coming days it will assert its rights. Cold air masses moving through the south of Kazakhstan will cause precipitation (rain with a transition to snow), heavy precipitation in some areas, increased wind, icy conditions, as well as a significant decrease in air temperature – thermometer columns in the daytime and at night will drop to 2-7 degrees Celsius.
