According to the order of the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Nysanbayev, First Deputy General Director Asset Kaliev was appointed to Kazhydromet.
Asset Sansyzbaevich has a specialized higher education and many years of experience in the field of hydrology and water resources management. In 1998, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Terrestrial Hydrology and a Master's degree in Hydrology in 2000.
Asset Sansyzbaevich began his professional career in 2000 as a leading engineer of the Committee on Water Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Kokshetau, where he worked until 2002.
In the period from 2002 to 2007, he continued his career in the Committee on Water Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, having worked his way up from a leading specialist to a chief specialist.
From 2008 to 2013 Asset Sansyzbaevich served as Director of the Regional Center for Northern and Central Kazakhstan. In 2019-2020, he worked as the Director of the Water Safety Center of the Astana International Scientific Complex.
Asset Sansyzbaevich holds a master's degree and is the author of scientific publications and developments. Over the years of his professional activity, he has been awarded a number of awards and incentives, including:
• Certificate of Merit "For Conscientious Work" from the Committee on Water Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Certificates "For significant contribution to the development of interregional partnership relations" from Ecoservice C LLP;
• innovative patent of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the invention "Method of preventing oncoming collision of vehicles in areas with limited visibility";
• the badge "Ecology of salasyn uzdigi".
