RSE Kazhydromet plans to open seven new agrometeorological posts from the beginning of 2026. Modern automatic agrometeorological posts have been installed in Akmola, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions within the framework of the UNDP-GEF Project "Promoting a sustainable agricultural production system and preserving ecosystems of the landscape of Northern Kazakhstan". Observations of grain crops and the main meteorological parameters affecting their development will be carried out at agricultural posts. The expansion of the observation network will provide consumers with up-to-date information and to refine specialized agrometeorological forecasts for farmers. The installation of new agricultural posts helps to improve the quality of monitoring of agro-climatic conditions and helps farmers plan their sowing and harvesting operations more efficiently.
