Today, students of the 10th grade of KSU "Secondary School No. 19" in Astana visited the Republican State Enterprise Kazhydromet.
During the tour, the students got acquainted with the activities of the national hydrometeorological service, learned how specialists make weather and flood forecasts, as well as how hydrometeorological observations help farmers, for example, determine favorable dates for sowing wheat and other crops.
The tour allowed the children not only to see the work of meteorologists and hydrologists from the inside, but also to expand their knowledge about the importance of hydrometeorological observations in the daily life of society.
