Director General of Kazhydromet participated in the 43rd meeting of the Berlin Eurasian Club

On May 20, the 43rd meeting of the Berlin Eurasian Club (BEC) was held in the Kazakhstan Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to issues of economic, water management and educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany.
Danara Kizatovna Alimbayeva, Director General of RSE Kazhydromet, spoke at the second panel session on "Effective water resources management: experience and prospects of Germany and Kazakhstan".
In her speech, she stressed the importance of international cooperation in the field of sustainable water management and the exchange of scientific knowledge for adaptation to climate change. It was also noted that close cooperation between the countries is necessary to ensure environmental safety and sustainable development.
At the end of her speech, the Director General noted that Kazhydromet RSE intends to further develop cooperation with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), which will be an important step in strengthening scientific exchange and joint initiatives in the field of climatology and water resources.
