Moderate drought in May of this year is predicted:
− in Kostanay region, in Amangeldy, Dzhangeldy
districts and partly in the vicinity of Arkalyk,
− in the West Kazakhstan region in Terektinsky, Kaztalovsky,
Zhanybek, Zhangalinsky, Akzhaiksky and Bokeyordinsky districts,
− in Atyrau region in Kurmangazinsky district
− in the Mangystau region in Beine, Mangystau and
Karakiyansky districts
− in the Karaganda region, in the Aktogay and Shet districts,
− in the Abai region in the Ayagoz district,
− in the Balkhash district of Almaty region,
− in the Zhambyl region in the Moyinkum district,
− in the Turkestan region in the Suzak district,
− in the Kyzylorda region, in the Aral, Kazalinsky, and
Karmakshinsky districts.
In the Aktobe region, in the Kobda district and in the vicinity of
Aktobe is forecast to have moderately humid conditions.
In the rest of the country, humidification conditions will be close to
normal.
