The fire danger forecast

The fire season begins from the moment the snow cover melts and before the onset of stable rainy weather or the formation of snow cover.

 Kazhydromet RSE issues a forecast on fire danger in the regions of Kazakhstan.

The fire hazard indicator depends on a prolonged sustained period of dry and hot weather. |To characterize the degree of fire danger, there are 5 classes of degrees of fire danger:

Class 1 - there is no fire danger;

Class 2 - low fire hazard;

Class 3 - medium fire hazard;

Class 4 - high fire danger;

Class 5 is an extreme fire hazard.

Upon reaching the fire hazard index of class 4 (high fire hazard) and class 5 (extreme fire hazard) Kazhydromet issues storm warnings about fire danger and is promptly communicated according to the approved Scheme for bringing storm information (approved by the Director General of RSE Kazhydromet) to all government agencies, to the Crisis Management Center (CCS) The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emergency situations of regions, akimats of cities, regions and other interested bodies.

All storm warnings in the form of SMS messages are sent by the 112 notification system, displayed in the application "Darmen Emergency Situations - Kazakhstan Emergency Situations", posted on the official website of the RSE "Kazhydromet" https://www.kazhydromet.kz/ru /, in the media.

 Тhe Daily Hydrometeorological Bulletin will publish a fire hazard forecast indicating fire hazard classes for each region of Kazakhstan.

With the forecast of high air temperatures and weather without precipitation, with an increase in the fire danger indicator, storm warnings will be issued with maximum advance time (1-7 days).

An extreme fire danger remains in the south-east and south of the Zhetisu region.
