A working meeting was held between the heads of Kazhydromet RSE and the Meteorological Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR)

With advanced early warning technologies, the Xinjiang Meteorological Administration acts as a key methodological center for weather forecasting and climate research.

Following the meeting, ways of further cooperation between the hydrometeorological services were identified, and it was proposed to hold a number of consultations in order to share experience in long-term forecasting.
