On August 24, a delegation from the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany visited Kazhydromet RSE.
During the visit, the German delegation got acquainted with the work of Kazhydromet and the main activities of the enterprise. The guests were told about the system of hydrometeorological observations, the preparation of forecasts and monitoring of weather and natural phenomena.
Representatives of the German Ministry of Defense visited the Kazhydromet laboratory, where they were able to see the work of specialists and the equipment used. The delegation also visited the Hydrometeorological Center, where experts talked about how weather monitoring, data analysis and preparation of hydrometeorological forecasts are organized.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of further exchange of experience and information in the field of hydrometeorology.
