Kazhydromet has issued an updated forecast of winter wheat yields for 2026. According to estimates, taking into account the current agrometeorological situation and the weather forecast for the future, winter wheat yields are mainly expected to be within the long–term average values: in the Almaty region - from 10.5-12.5 kg/ha (Ili district) to 22.8-24.8 kg/ha (Enbekshikazakh district); in Zhambyl region – from 11,2-13,3 c/ha (Talas, Sarysu districts) to 15.8-17.8 (Shui district); in Zhetisu region – from 15.8-17.8 c/ha (Kebulak district) to 21.3-23.3 (Taldykorgan). In the Turkestan region, in the Kazygurt region, winter wheat yields are expected to be higher than normal (21.7-23.7 c/ha), in the rest of the region, within long–term values - from 11.7-13.8 (Saryagashsky, Aryssky districts) to 29.8-30.8 c/ha (Maktaaralsky district). The yield forecast for the regions of the southern regions is available on the official website of the Kazhydromet State Enterprise and in the AgroData farmer's application (https://agrodata.kz ).
