Summer is a period of high air temperatures and increased atmospheric activity, accompanied by hot weather, short–term rains, heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds.
According to the advisory forecast, in June, the average monthly air temperature is expected to be 1-2 degrees above normal in most of the Republic, about normal in the eastern regions, in the far north-west of the country (norm: +18+23 °C in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, +24+28 °C in the south-west half of the country, +7+17 °C - in the mountainous regions of the south-east and east of the republic). Daytime air temperatures are expected to fluctuate from +30+38 °C to +15+20 °C, and at the same time, in the southern half of the republic, on some days, thermometer columns may reach +40+45 °C. Hot days will be replaced by cool days with torrential rains, thunderstorms, hail and squally winds, frosts are not excluded in the first decade in the north and east of the republic, as well as in the mountainous regions of the south-east of the country at night and in the morning.
July is the middle of summer, it is expected to be moderately hot, with a temperature background within the normal range (norm: +18+24°C in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, +25+30°C - in the southern half of the country, +9+17 °C - in the mountainous regions of the south-east and east of the republic).
The last month of summer, August is expected to be hot in almost most of the country, the air temperature is forecast to be 1-2 degrees above normal, and only in the southeastern half of the republic is expected to be near normal (norm: +20+28 °C in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, +16+19°C in the northeastern half of the country, +11+15 °C - in the mountainous regions of the east and south-east of the republic).
As for precipitation, in general, moderate precipitation is expected in most parts of the republic in summer, less than usual.:
in June - in the south-west, in some areas of the north and the center of the country (norm: 25-49 mm in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 1.7-24 mm in the south-western half of the country, 51-155 mm – in some areas of the north and in mountainous areas of the south-east and east of the Republic);
in July – in the west, south-west, south and south-east of the Republic (norm: 25-49 mm in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 1.4-24 mm in the south-western half, 50-84 mm in some areas of the north-west, north, center and east of the country, in mountainous areas of the south-east and east of the Republic);
in August - in the south-west, in the center, in some areas of the south and east of Kazakhstan (norm: 1-24 mm in most of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 25-49 mm - in the north, in most of the north-west, east, south-east of the country, 50-63 mm – in some areas of the north, east, south-East of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
