Today, Kazhydromet RSE hosted an introductory tour for 10th grade students of Gymnasium No. 75. The students had the opportunity to get to know more about the history of the national hydrometeorological service, its current tasks and importance for the country.
During the tour, the students were told about the stages of the development of hydrometeorology in Kazakhstan, showed archival materials and key historical moments of the formation of Kazhydromet. Of particular interest was the visit to the Hydrometeorological Center, where experts demonstrated the processes of analyzing, processing and forecasting the weather.
Such events contribute to improving the environmental literacy of schoolchildren, broaden their horizons and provide an opportunity to see the work of meteorologists from the inside.
