On August 13, a bilateral working meeting was held between RSE Kazhydromet and the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
During the negotiations, the parties presented reviews of their activities and current projects, exchanged experiences on improving human resources, and outlined promising areas of cooperation.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was agreed upon between the meteorological services. The document provides for the development of joint initiatives and the exchange of experience.
Representatives of RSE Kazhydromet also got acquainted with the work of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Finnish Meteorological Institute, visited its laboratories and other departments.
