RSE Kazhydromet has clarified the drought forecast for June 2025.
According to the forecast, moderately dry conditions are expected in June.:
in Kostanay region, in Amangeldy, Dzhangeldy districts;
in the Aktobe region, in the Shalkar, Irgiz and Wilsky districts;
in Atyrau region, in Kurmangazinsky and Makhambet districts, as well as in the vicinity of Atyrau and Kulsary;
in the Karaganda region, in Aktogay, Karkaralinsky and Shetsky districts;
in Ulytau region in Ulytau and Zhanaarkinsky districts;
in the Abai region in the Ayagoz district;
in the Almaty region, in the Balkhash and Zhambyl districts;
in the Zhetisu region, partly in the Alakolsky district;
in the Zhambyl region, in the Moyinkum, Kordai, T. Ryskulovsky, Merken, Sarysu and Talas districts;
in the Turkestan region, in the Suzak, Kazygurt, Otyrar, Tolebi, Shardara, Saryagash, Zhetysai and Tulkubassky districts and in Shymkent;
in the Kyzylorda region, in the Kazalinsky, Karmakshinsky, Shiiliysky districts and in the city of Kyzylorda, also partially in the Aral region.
At the same time, the June rains against the background of accumulated precipitation in May will create moderately humid conditions in some regions of the north.:
in the North Kazakhstan region in Zhambyl, Timiryazevsky, Shalakynsky, Yesilsky districts and in the area of Musrepov;
in Kostanay region, Uzunkol, Karabalyk and Mendygara districts;
In the Akmola region in the Egindykolsky district.
Humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal in the rest of the country.
